thecollab is a duo of creative problem solvers focused on crafting unique, engaging spaces and experiences. Artist educators, Jaimie and Kate, merge their individual perspectives, styles, and concepts to develop custom design solutions for projects of all types and sizes. In their work, Jaimie and Kate use color, shape and texture as abstract storytelling tools on a variety of surfaces to invoke energy, joy, and community. Their collaboration process is both structured and intuitive and relies on their ability to successfully weave together their individual visions to complete thoughtful, dynamic artworks. 

When Jaimie and Kate are not working on projects, you can find them eating dan dan noodles at their favorite Myers & Chang, heading to midnight showings at the Coolidge Corner Theater, sipping strong black coffee, and spending time with their furry friends and plants.
